If Ozora’s art had to be described in two words it would be realistic and powerful. Drawing inspiration for his mangas from dialogues, conversations and music, he counterbalances the emotional aspect by drawing extremely detailed and realistic drawings. From showing all the pipes and screws in a train station to filming himself and rewatching it to make sure his drawings show movement accurately, his pieces are snapshots of our daily lives, capturing feelings amidst our physical spaces. He prefers creating art with pen and paper and he uses the especially challenging g-pen, which he mastered in two months.
Ozora is 23-years-old and has been drawing since he was a young child. Today he works part-time at a restaurant and spends the rest of his free time creating manga. He has collaborated with Shueisha, the publisher of Shonen Jump and his dream would be to win an award and start a weekly series.
